ROMANCING THE PAGE: DRAWINGS ON PAPER
The STUTZARTSPACE Gallery Exhibition, Romancing the Page: Drawings on Paper, runs May 7 – May 28, 2010. An opening reception is set for 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. May 7, in conjunction with the Indianapolis Downtown Artists & Dealers Association’s (IDADA) monthly First Friday gallery tour. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays, or by appointment.
Many people think of drawings as preliminary sketches or something everyone did as kids. Romancing the Page, however, will feature drawings as the main event when 11 artists showcase their love of pencil, brush, pastel and ink.

ARTISTS OPEN THEIR STUDIOS
Approximately 25 artists open their studios to visitors from noon to 5 p.m. the first Friday of the month. Participating artists include: Carol L. Myers, Jerry Points, Karen Mausbaum, Susan Brewer, Susan Mauck, Julia Z. Wickes, Judith L. Sturges, Martha Vaught, JanettMarie, Michele Soncini and Julie Perigo.
